Francis (bellowsmaker Redruth) probably husband Prudence Paynter ? widow Redruth census 1881. This appears to be the one. But did he return almost immediately? The shipping date is 13 September 1839 and the family were Francis WILTON Bellows maker. 30Redruth, wife 27 (unnamed) a sons 7 and 3, daughters 6 months. The 3 and 6 months children are in the group sheet, and with a marriage in1832 it is possible that the older one was born either in or out of wedlock. Maybe he was baptised as PAYNTER and this could be why the PAYNTER is perpetuated as a middle name. Usually it would have been ? Wilton PAYNTER so upon marriage the PAYNTER gets dropped and the child is known as WILTON Regards Karen
